Porterville Unified School District and their partners are excited to celebrate National Pathway Day on April 16 a day now posted on the official National Calendar as a result of the Porterville Unified School Pathway Department. Porterville has been a leader in this work for more than a decade and was one of the first districts in California to develop a Graduate Profile, a broad-based coalition of support, and an elementary and middle school career awareness and exploration structure. With 14 open choice pathways and 75% of their students selecting a pathway, the district is seeing significant gains in attendance, graduation rate, test scores, and college going and retention.
ConnectED is excited to join Porterville and their partners as we celebrate National Pathway Day on April 16th.
Mark your calendars, let’s all use this opportunity to support and promote pathways within our own community. You can find suggested activities on our National Pathway Day page.
